ABOUT

Cerno started close to home. Someone I care about runs a coaching business. She's excellent at the work, but the business around it was swallowing her. Clients lived in her memory, follow-ups slipped, and finding new ones took hours she didn't have. She knew things could run better. She just had no time to figure out how, and no one she trusted to ask.

Years later I was evaluating AI companies as an investor, and I kept thinking about owners like her. These tools get sold every day to people with no one helping them decide.

That's why Cerno exists. We believe AI can work for any small business when the system is designed around how the business actually runs. Keeping up with this space is a full-time job. We made it ours so it doesn't have to be yours.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Noah White

I've spent my career on both sides of the AI conversation. As an investor, I deployed $550K into early-stage companies and evaluated more than 100 AI startups. As a builder, I've shipped production systems for investment firms, hotels, agencies, manufacturers, biotechs, and nonprofits across four countries.

That mix is the reason Cerno works. I can sit in the executive conversation and I can write the automation. Most advisors do one or the other.

I also run Ground Floor Labs, a nonprofit making AI work for small businesses around the world. We partner with chambers of commerce, local governments, economists, and AI research labs to build open infrastructure that helps small businesses thrive.

I studied finance at the University of Utah and I'm based in San Francisco, working with businesses wherever they are.

Outside of work I'm a traveler, an adventure seeker, and a connector at heart. I care about human connection and helping local communities flourish. And I love pushing my body and mind to their limits through ultrarunning, with Quad Dipsea and the Big Alta 100k up next.
